The Track Construction phase brings your vision to life, where we transform the approved design into a fully realized motocross track. With expert craftsmanship and attention to detail, we focus on ensuring a track that’s both visually striking and engineered for optimal performance.
Standard Services
Travel
Transportation of personnel to and from the project site, including costs for airfare, site vehicles, and any necessary lodging or accommodations for our work crew.
Layout
The track alignment and key feature locations are marked on the site based on the approved design. This process ensures the accurate placement of track features for construction.
Heavy Machinery
Includes rental, mobilization, and fuel costs for the equipment required to complete the project.
Dirtwork
Grading, shaping, and compacting soil to create the track’s features, establishing elevation, slopes, and contours for a stable, smooth surface. Final adjustments refine the track for safety, flow, and rider experience.
Drainage
Installing systems to manage water flow across the track, preventing water buildup and erosion. This may include surface grading, trenching, and the installation of drainage pipes.
Track Markers
Installation of track markers to define the layout, including boundaries, corners, and key features, ensuring rider safety and track organization.
Site-Specific Services
Depending on the project’s complexity, the following services may be required, assessed separately, and performed at an additional fee:
Sediment and Erosion Control Installation: Setting up measures like silt fences, erosion control blankets, sediment basins, or other barriers to prevent soil erosion and manage runoff during and after construction.
Clearing Operations: Removal of trees, shrubs, grasses, rocks, and debris from the land to prepare the site for track construction.
Topsoil Stripping & Return: Removing and preserving topsoil, which is returned after the track is built to create an optimal riding surface and encourage healthy vegetation growth in disturbed areas.
Soil Import: Bringing in additional soil or materials from outside the site to improve the track surface or meet specific design requirements. This is often done when the existing soil is unsuitable for track construction, or when more material is needed.
Haul Truck Operations: Transporting fill material, soil amendments, or relocating dirt to specific areas of the site.
Water Truck Operations: Applying water to control dust, aid in compaction, and maintain proper moisture levels for track shaping.
Specialty Soil Additions: Incorporation of materials such as sawdust, sand, or custom blends to enhance track quality and optimize riding conditions.
Screening: Separating rocks, debris, and large particles from the soil to create a smoother surface for better traction and safety.
Post Construction Considerations
These final considerations focus on ensuring the longevity, functionality, and aesthetics of your track. Essential maintenance and enhancement services, carried out by trusted third-party professionals, help keep the track in optimal condition long after construction is complete.
Herbicide Application: Preventing weed and unwanted vegetation growth, reducing maintenance.
Site Stabilization: Establishing ground cover to prevent erosion and promote a natural, aesthetically pleasing environment.
Irrigation System: Installing a system to maintain proper moisture levels, control dust, and ensure stable riding conditions.
Fence Installation: Providing safety, crowd control, and property security, including perimeter fencing, safety barriers, and partitions for pits and spectator areas.
Project Approval & Sign-Off
Budget and Scope Confirmation: The project budget and scope of work are confirmed, ensuring all costs and included services are clear.
Client Approval: The client gives their approval, confirming they are satisfied with the design and ready to move forward.
Formal Sign-Off: The client signs an agreement, officially approving the design and project details before construction begins.
This comprehensive process ensures that every phase of your track project is carefully managed, from start to finish, to meet your vision and expectations.
